However, the unique nature of the 2008 event, which coincides with the golden jubilee anniversary of Nigeria’s first crude oil exports, is the impetus for what we have called the NIGERIA PETROLEUM GOLDEN JUBILEE AWARDS. This unique event which will be supported by a Gala Dinner at the beautiful Transcorp Hilton in Abuja is a celebration of a special breed of Nigerians who have made us proud through their hard work, perseverance and creativity. Of course the book which will be launched at the gala dinner will do justice to the 100 Nigerians who will be honoured, as well as the companies which promoted the top 50 Landmark Projects during this period.
