Abuja Petroleum Roundtable - An annual forum focused on creating linkages between petroleum exploitation and economic development in the Gulf of Guinea.

Abuja Petroleum Roundtable was originally conceived as a quarterly closed forum on petroleum policy issues intended for only invited experts on the relevant subject for each event. However, the expansion of the mandate occasioned by the involvement of world renowned petroleum engineering teacher and policy analysis guru - Dr Emmanuel Egbogah now makes an annual event more realistic.
Dr. Egbogah, since being named the Chairman of the Abuja Petroleum Roundtable Advisory Board, has given time and other resources to campaign for the project, thereby raising the profile of APR. He has also taken time off his very busy schedule to address the media and other stakeholders, visit important players in the Nigerian economy and given television talk shows, all in support of the awareness creation drive.
The APR Advisory Board is a body of Nigerian and international eminent personalities and very successful persons who have impeccable pedigree in the Oil & Gas business. This body will be inaugurated as part of the programmes of APR 2007.
